Providing cooler, fresher air for rooms up to 350 square feet, this portable three-in-one unit functions as an 11,000-BTU air conditioner, a 51-pint-per-day dehumidifier, and a three-speed fan with auto, high, and low settings. I remember doing a lot of research when I bought this device. It's not like what is being reviewed by two stars. One important point - it has two hoses - input and output (not a lot of units out there). It is very good in the water evaporation leads from the room (the two snakes were probably responsible for this efficiency). I still have to empty the tank. The device comes with a package that window tube in place (are made of durable plastic) applies. As for moving, with no major problems - is a beast going down the stairs ..... but your air conditioner, not a fan. I usually use it for a 20x20 room (9 foot ceilings) to cool. It does take more time than I want, but if it's a humid night, the room is in a "tow able" in about one hour. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that the remote control gives you options that you can not get from the panel if you lose the remote control functionality is lost (there may be a secret set of buttons to push to get the job, I have not discovered yet). Large A / C catchthestoke CA I bought this after reading the comment from two stars and I'm very glad I did. I live in university dormitories and AC does an excellent job cooling my room and I have not experienced any of the concerns raised by another reviewer. I have some friends with other portable units A / C and none works as well as the current one. As the wheels roll on the carpet in the living room, I had the A / C for over a month and have yet to empty the water tank, and this A / C is as cold as my room so I could want, and can be even cooler if you wish. I have this unit on sale for ~ $ 230 and it is a great investment 8 out of 10 people found the following review helpful. happy bob price is good, good delivery, after 2 weeks of use - the unit is running very well so far. The best thing about the device --- this is the only model / company, an AC that has once again after a power failure! Here in Los Angeles, we have many power outages each summer. I looked high and low, and SPT is the only device that supports this feature. Additionally, sales / seller, when Lord Wyn SPT *** very helpful, very knowledgeable and customer satisfaction oriented.
