By Kathryn Let me first say that it is a nice looking device and it would be perfect for my bedroom windows of irregular shape have to start. If you are looking for a fan, this is for you! As for the AC adapter if it does it on a big boom, then the CA sounds like a freight train in the room. I called LG and as he read from a script called "when it was installed correctly" I tried, which was plugged in since the time to explain, it makes noise, but it did with the script. Seriously, how hard it is to a small area in a window? I then called Amazon. They have the best customer service! They were understanding! They sent me back a note. Will be back tomorrow. Are used to the big A / C For Oresto Amore I bought two of these, and they work to replace much. I originally bought them for two small windows in a converted attic, but when I saw how well they worked and how much quieter than even normal-sized A / C in our bedroom, I changed one of these in our master bedroom windows and we sleep better with very cold air and a quieter machine, I thought this little device would not be enough power for a full-size space cooling in the middle of a New York-August, but it's great. I deducted one star for the same problem we have with all the window A / C units, lights on the front is too bright in a dark bedroom.
