It is the size of a refrigerator in the room ... possibly higher. Second note: This item is strong, but not in a bad way. It has fan-generated constant noise white thing going on. If the unit is between you and escape, it seems more calm, but you can see where the exhaust outlets (re: installation of window) is heard in both units and air into the exhaust pipe. Third note: It is unclear whether you should use the drain pipe in AC mode, or simply in the dehumidifier. As luck would have it, the answer is yes ... you need to drain while it cools. That said, I'm completely in love with this large terminal. It was over 95 when it was brought out more than 90 inches * inside * the box when launched. It was about 10 minutes of reading instruction-girl-holding key after that. Ten minutes later, I pull in and let is about 60 seconds later, the air coming out is cold. The first few levels decreased rapidly, downgrade the entire first floor of the apartment, "meat" to "eh, it's a little hot" for about 5 minutes. The next two degrees occurred more slowly, for about an hour, since the entire first floor to be "hot?" for "not hot" and finally that "comfortable" ... about 75 degrees. With spectacular air conditioner steal the boy on the computer for what it's worth, I have owned a Royal Sovereign that I was generally satisfied. Danby makes great products. This air conditioner is equipped with all the necessary components to all sorts of installations, and if you use it as a dehumidifier, which has a discharge pipe must be enclosed. Comes with sliding panels sufficient for the installation of the door. The device itself is much quieter than the Royal Sovereign, and as I'm sure it's louder than a window unit'm, I'm pleased that it's so quiet as it was also slightly smaller than the RS is. I was nervous out of white plastic, but it is a bright, easy to clean. The output of the air can be directed upward or forward, but not next to each variable. This device also has heat. One thing is funny is that the air conditioning a remote that has the right ... but you can not see the settings on the air conditioner because the lights are on top! The thermostat works very well. The air conditioner does not turn off when the desired temperature is reached, which looks as if along with portable devices. In 2005, Consumer Reports says if you buy a portable device, get one with two lines, because it works ... Units of each tube-phones do not work. You were right. Get your laptop with two pipes. Go to a dollar store and instead buy one of those little personal fans. The concept is good, especially the bottle of water (no chemicals here), but the execution is terrible. The "fan" is too small to really blow the cold air. I did not expect a whole room cool, but I should not sit in front of it and still hot and sweating. If you work in an area that is already using AC, it can work, since it most likely will fetch and distribute cold air, but it will do nothing if the air is warm. 25 of 27 people found the following review helpful. Totally useless by Deb-bee, you can barely feel a trickle of a breeze. You need to keep this thing straight into your face feel fresh. Useless. Especially because it is so thick that anything less "personal" as something that is part comfortabley also stated that it is almost impossible to open the battery compartment (and would have been nice to know I needed to do a small Phillips), and when finally did, put the batteries and turned it on was, of course, a total disappointment. With a bottle of frozen water in, it's cooler? Sure ... I think, but since the fresh air is forced out enough to feel any sense. Save. Su. Money. This is very poorly designed. By continuing Aaryanna After five summers hot in my new place, I finally decided on a portable room air conditioner to help get to the heat. Looking for a bit, I settled on this Sharp unit. I liked its clean lines and simple installation diagrams marked on the outside of the box. $ 50 instant rebate currently offered also helped - a lot. The device comes with several panels of the exterior vent assembly support. The 5 "diameter hose seemed kind of g-Normous comes out of the box, but his semi-rigid structure has a built-in screw-like segmentation -. It is easy to rotate the tube, where a) the device itself and makes b) in the window adapter - without tools. How cool is that? It took me about 20 minutes to install window and frame adapter in my window to the outside (with a little drilling and screwing) But when the unit is turned on - I could not believe 1) how the unit was quiet and 2) how much air cold from outside. Hallelujah! My two cats looked at him curiously as he sets the unit above. However, both failed to find favorite places - with the wind - which became his preferred nesting sites during the day. Who says cats are stupid? The a / c vents in front seemed little at first. But if they open automatically (to help keep the unit clean) - and its small size - it really helps increase air flow for greater projection. I closed the door to all my other rooms - to confine the cooling air to the living room, kitchen / dining room and living room. My place is fully air conditioned, but I can not wait to see if I can do without it all summer after living with a host of fans in the room - and also a dehumidifier inside (which was far stronger its heat from the back, ventilated) - I can already tell this summer seems to be the most comfortable I've yet to experience. Sharp portable A / C comes with a remote hand - which is used to check the settings. There is only one switch, and some lights on the drive itself. I use the automatic control - to set the desired temperature - and the device does the rest. Sharp usually makes good products, I wanted to like this a / c, but at best it cools so / so. The style is elegant, the holes are just as beautiful as the direction of air can be adjusted (a feature not available on all handsets w / c). The remote control is more robust than most, but not really at the expense of on-board control. How many television today if you lose the remote-luck to make it work as you want (there is a button on and off, and not on the display board). Amazon has the 9,500 BTU unit as in the title, but then 10,500 in the description. The model is the CV2-P10SX, according to Sharp, is 10,500 BTU. Unfortunately, it seems only to have the cooling effect of a 9000 BTU unit. Now I have three portable A / C. Haier is a One year I bought from Best Buy @ 9000 BTU (still strong), the second is a Friedrich 11,500 and is now the third try I thought Sharp Sharp this time b / c it seemed ionizing function. Ionizers may cost only $ 100 so I thought it was worth it. Reading the manual was disappointed to learn the ionizer does not work when the unit is in A / C. E 'c / o ionizer. The pipe gets very hot which leads me cold to think that it would remove too much heat, but the air leaves the device in the room is not really chilly. I think maybe the exhaust gas does not move enough air to cool the device properly. My Haier 9000 BTU cools cools better than the (allegedly 10 500) 11500 Frederick Sharp and my much better than two of them. Of the three, however, Sharp is the quietest. Given the choice, would be to purchase this anymore, I go for another Frederick. Ghis I have this addition to the window unit I've used for years and ended up just completely replace the window unit. Very robotic design, which is about 3 feet high and is actually quite low, when you take it out of the container. Comes with all accessories needed to implement it immediately. Hook it up and put heating vent in my window A / C used to be very simple. Typically, power up after my daughter returned from preschool and adjust the temperature to about 74F. The rods usually around 2:00 in room and outside temperatures are pleasant and comfortable. The air is very cold around the unit and get a good sized room to a comfortable temperature quickly. It seems very quiet during the day with all the other sounds, and my daughter has slept like a baby since I got it. I have not emit a low hum when it's cooling fan, but otherwise the sound is not clear to me that you can rely on a high turnout in a few minutes, but after awhile, it's an exaggeration. It does a great job at a low fan speed setting when the room is almost the leaves to be desired temp. I like the idea of ​​not using the central air in our old apartment. I think the time savings program is simply the price of the unit. The best part is I can bring it with us when we move ever. It's great for a few weeks now working and I can only end up getting another for our own room. I sleep with him now. LED is very bright, but not so much that it keeps me awake. I took one star because of the window useless tubes were not suitable for long enough to reach my window so I went to Home Depot to build a rig. Extra tubes are expensive, so I do not buy them. The screws are very short and pop from the mountain of cheap plastic, so I use tape to hold in place. I have since moved and now has side hung windows, so I'm going to build a new medium when I screw the hose directly into a piece of plexiglass that will sit in the window. I read that this will work fine, so I'm not worried. One of the negative reviews that I read about this device is that it is able to cool the room. It is designed to cool approximately 600 square meters (a small apartment), so it works well for my place. I also use a blower to push fresh air into the room. I like the look of the team, and the fact that it can be a fan or a dehumidifier. AC performance even in Florida by Byron Goss I have a canopy tent and use it frequently during the summer here in Florida. I have to give this unit a little heat repost / humitity and did a wonderful job. What struck me about this product was the low use amp / voltage. I called a monitor amp / volt and discovered that drew 9.73 amps, a little lower than the 10.5 that I saw in the manual. Can I connect a drain pipe, so I can not comment on how fast the water tank is full. I say that is the portable air conditioner coolest I've ever used. Defiantly a good purchase.
