Sharp usually makes good products, I wanted to like this a / c, but at best it cools so / so. The style is elegant, the holes are just as beautiful as the direction of air can be adjusted (a feature not available on all handsets w / c). The remote control is more robust than most, but not really at the expense of on-board control. How many television today if you lose the remote-luck to make it work as you want (there is a button on and off, and not on the display board). Amazon has the 9,500 BTU unit as in the title, but then 10,500 in the description. The model is the CV2-P10SX, according to Sharp, is 10,500 BTU. Unfortunately, it seems only to have the cooling effect of a 9000 BTU unit. Now I have three portable A / C. Haier is a One year I bought from Best Buy @ 9000 BTU (still strong), the second is a Friedrich 11,500 and is now the third try I thought Sharp Sharp this time b / c it seemed ionizing function. Ionizers may cost only $ 100 so I thought it was worth it. Reading the manual was disappointed to learn the ionizer does not work when the unit is in A / C. E 'c / o ionizer. I run the ionizer for a while ', and has really given the air is charged until you hear and do not seem to neutralize the odor (I have an old window that the smell of mildew and the smell seemed to dissipate after the execution to be the ionizer). The unit arrived quickly on Amazon and came up with the vent pipe (which has a larger diameter than most laptops), windows media and even the weather stripping (which was nice). The window of attachment is different from most that it is a rectangular opening and is made up of several pieces of plastic. When the focus slightly to the tube to separate plastic parts cause dropped the hose tend, I had to use a small wire handle to prevent the pieces from separating, but it is still not stable enough and I must take care not a burden put on itself. The pipe gets very hot which leads me cold to think that it would remove too much heat, but the air leaves the device in the room is not really chilly. I think maybe the exhaust gas does not move enough air to cool the device properly. My Haier 9000 BTU cools cools better than the (allegedly 10 500) 11500 Frederick Sharp and my much better than two of them. Of the three, however, Sharp is the quietest. Given the choice, would be to purchase this anymore, I go for another Frederick. Malu efficient and quiet room I have this for our son, but I'm not transpotation not put this in your living room. To use it for our dining room. It is very quiet.I live in PA those weeks of heat wave of the house was cold. I also have another unit A / C} {LG to the kitchen and familyroom. I highly recoomend this product. Fast delivery. B They did a great job right from the box and was very easy to set up.I have had only a little over a month, so I could not give it 5 stars. I have to see how he holds the time.But now it does the job I bought for.It cools down in my home kitchen, dining room and living room are not sure of the unit square is quiet footage.The size and looks pretty good.There were drives that were a little less money, but I know people who bought the units and sent them back because of the noise and perfomance.I I was lucky with the Sharp products and therefore no exception to this .... all 5 reviews
