The average speed is almost imperceptible, but emits a gentle white noise. The ionizer function works well, but I really can not say if that's what the smell of fresh air or not. I'm sure that the ionizer technology has its benefits. Pros ---- ---- When the engine is at the top there is a notable fan blowing sound. This noise may be higher because the air blows through the openings in the upper back. But remember, as I said, no air purifier with a fan that will be very effective to make some noise for me, it is not.

It was the week I installed in the window, and it works like a dream, and is also quiet. It not only cools the living room, but kitchen and two bedrooms. The remote is a bonus. I have this fan recently and I can say this is a great design that is well designed. Even if you like a room fan works well (there are three speeds allows you to adjust the air flow - the maximum speed is moving much air), what the fans really shines is the directional capabilities. The airflow is pushed by the fan is quite narrow (focusing airflow exactly where you want) and up / down swivel base means that this thing can focus on the exact location of the air (like a wet spot on the carpet or your back while standing on your work on a steamy summer evening). The sockets are just icing on the cake. I got this fan for much less in other stores (Menard's) view, so look around. Otherwise, I recommend this as a well-designed, quality product! 28 of 29 people found this review helpful to some of the best I've ever spent money by James R. Axelrad May 9, 2009, I bought one of these fans to replace a standard 10-inch fans for personal use at work that just was not to follow. I am an electronic technician, and use is to stay cool and keep the air in which light work of dust and smoke. I am impressed by the quality of this product. Of course it is plastic, but it still feels like a solid product. I used it regularly for almost seven months. Something of note, is part of a criminal standard to the vertical. I keep working in the mines for several days. In fact, I hung on hooks to the handle at the rear top of the cabinet, leaving the place in my toolbox in the bottom of my locker. but this would not work for you if your garbage is that the hooks fans weighs over 8 kg. Mine has resisted this kind of use it well. He still has scratches and dents at the very minimum, to use, has a good design. The drum is divided fan, so half of the air sucked under control, and retail stores and through the motor housing, and the other half through a large contribution on the opposite side of the device. It means I have no worries about overheating of the fan, even in hot weather. However, this means you should be aware of whether this fan will be pulling nasty things with the surrounding air. Internal wiring seems to have been closed, but I doubt that I would trust with anything more than minimal wet or high humidity. The engine seems to still be a high quality units. It has a metal body, and is completely sealed. Because of everything but the engine is made of plastic, should I be careful not to introduce my equipment for welding, of course, but it was not a big problem. At work, when it's too cold to use the fan directly, actually use it as a hood, and is much better than the design of fans for this purpose can make the smoke more efficiently, and from a distance greater than any of my business is always on my bank. Just be sure to use the opposite side of the controls for dust and fumes are not drawn on the side with the engine. I had to dust next to the fan more often as a result, of course, but the compressed air works well. I have also used indirectly pointing the fan to something like the bottom of a shelf, and has a much more even air flow as a result. Jacks on the side is good. There are 10 amp, and I used the fan as a short extension cable. The fan has a 10-foot cable, so while the jacks can not be terribly useful for anyone who buys this fan is useful if you need the extra production. But I highly recommend this to the bedroom and so on. Although it is not high, like a box fan or the other guy, the same job as a fan of this have to do, you can definitely tell when it is on these, but otherwise said.

By David Hostetler I had this review after reading the comments just to this other fan. I am sure that I judged a fan of Amazon, but for some reason do not see. I use two of these fans to move air around my Swiss Gear 20x10 tent at the camp in Texas. It is made of plastic and like all other plastic products, fragile as your muscle your way to use it wrong, but its use is fairly simple. To open the leg, just swing on the back of the blower on its hinge. Open the battery is quite simple, if you know what lock and unlock icons mean. The fan moves a lot of air, and I've had a lot of abuse thrown in and out the back of my car for the last two years. My only complaint with them is the battery cover is a bit "difficult to recover until you understand exactly how it works, and will suck up a set of expensive D-cell battery down in 24 hours if you use these much, I strongly recommend to get a few sets of rechargeable D cells and a charger, or get the model with the built-in rechargeable batteries. I like this model also comes with a transformer that can be used to run off 110V power, making campsites with much less power than a drain on the wallet, I have assessed this 5 fan, because I think it's the best of its breed. Not to be compared to a fan box with cable or something like that because they do different things with them. But it's windy is the absolute best of its kind I've tried. I've used various models of Coleman, this thing moves so much air than there really is no comparison. Fans Coleman just does not move air as this thing makes ... 14 of 14 people found this helpful big fan, good battery life, you have to spend five minutes on the floor designed by Joseph Perrone bought this fan for my girlfriend and I keep cool during a camping trip in the spring. We needed something portable and powerful battery life, enough to buy a couple of hours in the morning when the sun came up (as everyone knows, the stores, the furnaces as soon as the first rays of the sun appears). This fan worked very well. The battery works as promised and move some air, without making too much fuss. Stiff hinge allows you to point the fan at any time and keep it in good position and solid as, and folds flat enough to put it in a backpack, if needed. But it takes lots of batteries, but again, after a really long time. This fan has us very cool and comfortable (enough to sleep in a little too much, actually!) The only problem (as my title suggests) is that the battery "cap" or cover is really bad, it's a huge pain designed to lock and unlock the lid and you have to press pretty hard to put it in place. The cover itself is made thin and cheap. If the wind drops a lot, I'm pretty sure that you end up with D batteries all over. Also the switch is easy to accidentally turn on, everything you need to do refresher courses are against them. When we go home we could not figure out where "wrrrrrrrr" noise coming from the car until we got home (5 hours later) and found a blanket that had turned on the fan. The good news? SUMMARY Phillips Pierce: 5 / 5 stars - glad I bought enthusiastically recommend it to friends, and not hesitate to buy a new model window fan ----- This Lasko 2155A - also sold as the 9155 model King Air - is a true blessing for me. I live in the Deep South (Georgia), where the sweltering summer heat index (H + heating near 100% humidity), often reaches 130 or more - and no air conditioning. For me, a big fan of the whole house a window like this makes all the difference between comfort and hell in July and August roll around (which is July 27th as I write this, and I'm sitting near the window with the fan upon him). This is truly a house window fan, and costs much less to operate than an air conditioner. Compared to the center of A / C, saving more than a hundred dollars a month, which is more than $ 600 a year each year that the money be better spent elsewhere! Do what is expected of Barrett This fan has been almost perfect for what we needed to do, but at the same time, no "wow" and I exceeded my expectations (which is good). My room was much warmer than the rest of my apartment shared by my many gadgets, so I needed a way to cool my room, regardless of the apartment AC / heater settings, and this helped in the sense fan. In fact, it is to shoot a breeze feels cooler than my other fans (not cold) does, and is much quieter. Because of the evaporative cooling work, cooling capacity varies depending on factors such as humidity (works best with less moisture, because it allows more evaporation). If you use this in an enclosed space for a long period of time, the humidity rises, making it less effective, and even make the air feel warmer (sweat works the same way, the humidity so high that you make feel warmer) that said, I've used several times during the night without realizing these potential side effects. Read the Wikipedia article for "cooler" to better understand how to let you know in advance whether or not it will be beneficial to you. Beautifully designed machine that a clean, modern look. The display is a hidden LCD bands that are simple and understandable, but a denial of information and meaningless statistics. Although it is easy to roll around, you have to get help when lifting more than a foot. Window kit was of good quality and the overall attitude was much easier. Bruzga I received this a few weeks ago for use dehumidifier in my basement apartment, which was wet with all the rain this summer. It has operated continuously since. It works great! Powerful but noisy By Arlo Leach, I have a home office in a wind that is blazing hot in summer and draughty in winter, and this powerful heater / air conditioner can quickly get the space to a comfortable temperature year round. Unfortunately, the device is quite high. AC fan (which runs continuously even when the compressor is off) is so loud I had to turn it off when you call. And the heater (which turns off completely when not in a heat cycle) makes such a piercing sound when it comes to that I jump out of my seat every time.
