It lives up to its reputation .... It is very quiet and gives a good Light breeze when needed. It works so well that it almost feels like a "conditioning" effect. Lasko Floor fan of Vanessa bought my first fan in 2003. This fan has great power. You feel the fan blowing on one of the three institutions, unlike many other floor or standing fans, no power. Took it to our annual Hula Show (Ho'ike) and the ladies were so grateful that I keep this fan in our changing / locker rooms. (They always forget to turn off the A / C on while dressing). This fan is quiet, you can use the balance sheet or not. It has three speeds (low med or high). She is quiet at all speeds. He did a really hot and humid day very comfortable. I tried to locate the fan in local stores and could not find it, so I was excited to see that Amazon had on sale. You will not regret it.
