Install the top bar, which was rare, and harder than it should be, seems the screws do not understand the main unit. Otherwise, installation was a breeze. When you look through the blinds can see light through the back, which does not seem right. And you can see the polystyrene foam that lines the unit very well, both through the blinds in the back. So that's where you save some $ $. With Styrofoam exposed that I do not think I leave the unit in the window of a brave New York winter. Neither seems to be airtight. It makes the room cool. Fan speed is high, higher and off. Not quite a "low" option, and is not silent, but I like white noise when I'm asleep anyway. My next device will have a remote control, however, and a digital temperature gauge does not have. Air conditioning works well by Donald James Dunn is a great little air conditioner for the price. The only thing I wish it had a thermostat to regulate the temperature. To close with Janet Gari with my home-office window to double the pleasure I have a small enough device to fit one of the windows and my computer to let non-stop work to find.
