The base consists of two semi-circles to unite around a power cord coming from the bottom of the ventilation unit. The screws of the fan base to hold everything together. To swing a little when you touch it, but is well on its own. There is a notch on the back of the fan on top that acts as a handle. The big advantage is the ease with which this fan is to move and position in relation to the fan are regular senior. To me it sounds as strong as any normal fan of oscillation, but it is likely that the air moves a little less. It is also very short compared to tall oscillating fan. Placing it in front of a door, which refers to the height of the door handle (see my photo in the gallery above). He turns to less than 90 degrees, probably about 70 degrees. When I started the fan, there was a slight noise, but left after the fan started and now I hear it all the more Aside from that, I have not heard another strange noise this fan. I've used this fan for about 10 hours per day during the past week without problems. I usually keep it at the lowest speed, fluctuating throughout the night, standing about 3 meters from the foot of my bed. It pushes enough air to really cool down after a few minutes. Generally it is a great buy, but I found it a bit expensive. Edit: I had this fan for over one year now, and he's still going strong. Occasionally, I get a slight rattling noise that goes away on its own after a few minutes. 53 of 55 people found the following review helpful. good for the quarter, not a life By KLMinMN is easy to assemble and runs very quietly. The air flow is strong enough to cool a bedroom, but I did not feel any air movement, though when I tried it in the living room to smaller room that is okay, but I would not buy if you are trying to cool a larger area. 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful. This fan is a bargain by Shell laine I'm happy with this purchase. The fan sits discreetly in the corner, unlike my big standing fan that draws attention to itself through its sheer size. Also, unlike my big fan, this is not susceptible to collapse because it is not top heavy. The best part is how quiet it is. It is almost silent on the lowest setting, and I can hardly hear when the TV is turned on. The higher settings are higher, but still much less than other fans I own. Free shipping is icing on the cake. See all 126 reviews ....
